This year, I chose to held said event at a pretty neat restaurant/bar/place with a dancefloor, Tandem in Bushwick, since some friends throw a monthly there and were DJing.Highlights: lots and lots of people I like; shamelessly wearing giant shoulder pads; doin’ dances; THE DISCO BALL CAKE JIM MADE ME (seriously, it’s pretty much the most loveliest, beautiful thing I’ve ever seen; many many hats off to him); James playing one of my all-time favorite tracks from the 305, Ghost Town DJ’s “My Boo”, which he said he wants played at his wedding. Brilliant idea.
